The building trade

This simple, but effective, application suite is becoming increasingly popular with the small-medium scale building industry

Whilst large sites have frequently used conveyors for moving materials - and waste - around, it has been unusual for smaller endeavours, who traditionaly relied on the 'man with the wheelbarrow'.

With changes in health and safety legistlation, an urge for increased productivity, and greater awareness of the benefits of low-cost materials-handling systems, more and more smaller companies have been commisioning mini-conveyors from us.

The requirement varies from rubble clearance (especially from confined spaces within an existing building) to cement-machine feeders, to general materials handling (bricks, tiles etc).

Central Conveyors has designed a variety of modular units for these applications. Each one is small enough to suite compact sites, and they can be daisy-chained together for longer runs, to go round corners, or up/down gradients.

Each unit is designed to be mounted on scaffold poles, with holes allowing poles to be run through the unit front and rear, making them very flexible.
